Professor KyungSup Kwak from Inha University visited the School of Information Science and Engineering between October 29 to November 2, 2011. He participated in the Featured Program Construction Seminar and gave a conference report, besides, he also made a report concerning the issues about students studying abroad and the current hot spots and other wireless communications research.
KyungSup Kwak received the B.S.degree from Inha University, Incheon,Korea, in 1977, the M.S. degree from the University of Southern California in 1981 and the Ph.D. degree from the University of California at San Diego in 1988, under the Inha University Fellowship and the Korea Electric Association Abroad Scholarship Grants. From 1988 to 1989, he was a member of Hughes Network Systems, San Diego, California. From1989 to 1990, he was with the IBM Network Analysis Center,North Carolina. Since then, he has been with the School of Information and Communication, Inha University,Korea, as a professor.He is currently with theUWBWireless Communications Research Center, a key government IT research center in Korea. He is an Inha Fellow Professor (IFP). His research interests include multiple access communication systems, mobile communication systems, UWB radio systems and ad-hoc networks, as well as high-performance wireless Internet.
